BASMAH Foundation has launched a feeding program for hungry and needy people. So many people live in acute poverty in Bangladesh.
Clean and safe drinking water
Access to clean water is still very limited in many areas in Bangladesh. The Cyclone and flood prone districts often experience wide inundation covering vast areas making fresh water unavailable.
The Basmah Foundation, also known as the Basmah Foundation, is a non-political, non-profit, and non-governmental humanitarian organization (NGO) registered with the NGO Affairs Bureau. It has been operational since July 26, 2018, collaborating with international and local donors and institutions. The foundation is currently active in both rural and urban areas across 20 districts in Bangladesh.
As a humanitarian organization in the NGO sector, the Basmah Foundation is implementing various programs with a focus on sustainable development to empower the entire community, especially the underprivileged individuals in Bangladesh who are vulnerable to climate and disaster. In partnership with the Government of Bangladesh and other stakeholders, the foundation is committed to combating poverty and achieving Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) 1, 2, 3, 4, and 17, as well as the Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction (SFDRR) targets in Bangladesh.
