Hundreds of thousands of Rohingya children are preparing to face their second Ramadan and Eid-ul-Fitr as refugees in Bangladesh, missing much of the celebration that normally accompanies this festive and holy month for Muslims.

This year 370,000 children are spending their most important celebration far from home, in hot, flimsy huts made of bamboo and plastic. Many Rohingya children in Bangladesh have recently fled horrific violence in Myanmar, witnessing widespread and extreme violence.

Since 2019, BASMAH has provided Ramadhan food baskets to the impoverished Rohingya refugees and Bangladeshi Locals. Thousands of families have benefited from this annual campaign through your generosity.https://www.youtube.com/embed/BRWNh5t1d3A

BASMAH will be employing people to cook fresh and nutritious Iftar meals prepared from scratch, which include juice, dates, salads, a main course, bread, pastries, and fruits. The Iftar meals are delivered to the Rohingya refugee population, who receive them with dignity in their host communities and refugee camps.

Each family were given $130 basic provisions which will last them the month of Ramadhan. You may donate any amount as every little bit helps.

“Whoever feeds a fasting person will have a reward like that of the fasting person, without any reduction in his reward” (At Tirmidhi)

For this reason, BASMAH USA with partner organization Basmah Foundation this Ramadan had provided Iftar to 40,000 families in Rohingya refugee camps and local Bangladeshi community.
