Basmah Foundation at Glance
The Basmah Foundation, also known as the Basmah Foundation, is a non-political, non-profit, and non-governmental humanitarian organization (NGO) registered with the NGO Affairs Bureau. It has been operational since July 26, 2018, collaborating with international and local donors and institutions. The foundation is currently active in both rural and urban areas across 20 districts in Bangladesh.
As a humanitarian organization in the NGO sector, the Basmah Foundation is implementing various programs with a focus on sustainable development to empower the entire community, especially the underprivileged individuals in Bangladesh who are vulnerable to climate and disaster. In partnership with the Government of Bangladesh and other stakeholders, the foundation is committed to combating poverty and achieving Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) 1, 2, 3, 4, and 17, as well as the Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction (SFDRR) targets in Bangladesh.

Beneficiaries Coverage
Basmah covers about 1 million beneficiaries in Bangladesh who are getting direct or indirect support from different humanitarian response as well as development projects since its inception in 2018.
Major Interventions
Basmah has identified the following broad interventions to achieve its goal and objectives and has been providing support to its beneficiaries:
- Education for Children through Learning Centers;
- BASMAH Health Care Center;
- Humanitarian Response and rehabilitation (Rohingya response)
- Seasonal program like Ramadan and Ifter food distribution, Qurbani meat distribution among the food in secured vulnerable people including Rohingya refugees;
- Food and Livelihood security for the poorest people;
- Orphan and Child welfare;
- Clean and fresh water and Sanitation;
- Marketing

- Rehabilitation of the Persons with Disability;
