Description
Since 2018, the BASMAH Foundation has been dedicated to extending warmth and comfort to the impoverished communities across Bangladesh. Recognizing the harsh realities faced by the underprivileged during the unforgiving winter months, BASMAH has undertaken the noble task of distributing free blankets and hoodies to those in need.
In various districts including Kurigram, Rangpur, Lalmonirhat, Mymensingh, Jashore, Jhenaidah, Dinajpur, Narayanganj, and Cox’s Bazar, BASMAH has reached out to the most vulnerable segments of society. Among these, the plight of the Rohingya refugee camp stands out as particularly dire. Stripped of their possessions and confined to bamboo huts, the Rohingya refugees endure unimaginable hardships, especially during the cold season.
Responding to this urgent need, BASMAH Foundation has stepped in to provide 5000 blankets and 1000 hoodies to the Rohingya refugees. These simple yet essential items serve as lifelines, offering solace and protection against the biting cold. Through such compassionate initiatives, BASMAH continues to exemplify its unwavering commitment to improving the lives of the marginalized, ensuring that no one is left to brave the elements alone.
